Owner & Partner Lennie Ann Alzate has been an Attorney since 2011. Her practice areas have included, bankruptcy, estate planning, immigration and business entity formation. She received her bachelors degree in psychology with a minor in philosophy from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she was captain of the UNLV boxing team. Owner & Partner John Varley is admitted to practice law in California Including the California Supreme Court, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, United States Tax Court, and the US District Courts- Southern, Central, Eastern and Northern Districts of California. In the area of Bankruptcy Law, John has personally filed more 2,500 successful cases through the Federal Bankruptcy Court System. OUR STORY
We met at a Bankruptcy Meeting of Creditors and discovered we had some similar philosophies regarding our business and life. We both believed it would be satisfying to focus on and master consumer bankruptcy law, have a lean business, and take fewer clients so that could be more attentive to their individual bankruptcy needs.
Our bankruptcy clients these days prefer e-mails, text messages, video conferences and phone calls. We learned to adapt to the modern age and are available by these methods throughout the week. We both live out of state but keep our virtual office in Liberty Station so we can meet clients should they request an in-person appointment.
